Portland, Maine, gets a dose of Manhattan when alums from world-famous New York City restaurants Eleven Madison Park and Per Se team up to open Twelve (120 Thames St.) over Memorial Day Weekend.

Twelve, an eatery expected to debut this summer in Portland, made Vogue magazine’s list of the 21 “most anticipated restaurant openings of 2022.”

This summer they’ll unveil Twelve, a seasonal American restaurant that pays homage to Maine’s best ingredients. Twelve will be housed within a historic building that was moved a few yards away from its original plot and rebuilt brick-by-brick at 58 Fore by the water.

Going above and beyond to preserve a Portland property.

The project, which sits between Portland's Munjoy Hill neighborhood and the waterfront, is projected to be completed in the next six years.

Tuesday's finale comes with a $50,000 grand prize and a new car.
